I think it’s very important that Robert, myself, the Redskins as a whole, handle this thing the right way. I was involved in a couple of quarterback competitions in college, so this isn’t my first time being around a situation like this. But I think the important thing to note is that we’re not competing against one another, we’re competing with one another, and we’re competing with one another to help the Redskins win football games. And who we’re really competing against are the Giants, and the Eagles and the Cowboys and the rest of the NFL. And that’s where our focus should be as far as competing.

Our former quarterback, Kirk Cousins, now has a new NFL home!
Cousins was the 7th pick in the 4th round and is now an official Washington Redskin!
(However, if any of you have been following the draft, you know that Heisman Trophy winner, Robert Griffin III, was also drafted to the Redskins. To see how ESPN analysts have broken down the drafting of two rookie quarterbacks to the same team, click here.)

Jerel Worthy was the 19th pick in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft (51st overall)! In the upcoming football season, Worthy will be playing for the Green Bay Packers!
(It’s only fitting that he continues to go green, right?!)
